Announces Grant Recipients...

The MVTHS Foundation Board of Directors announced the 2008
teacher/classroom grant recipients today - April 21, 2008:
MUSIC DEPARTMENT - Frank Winchester, Rolland Mays and John
McGhee. The grant is for a projector, necessary
cabling/installation hardware and smart board.
Mrs. Cheri Boyd, Business
Mrs. Tena Dawson, Family/Cons. Science
Mrs. Laura Ing, Health Occupations
Mr. John Kabat, Agriculture
Mrs. Carrie March, Career Education
Mrs. Debbie Nelson, Social Studies
Mr. Jason Patterson, Industrial Arts
This year grants totaled over $5000 and complete this year's goal of the Foundation to award compensation to classrooms through an application and judging process done in March of each school year. The Foundation hopes to increase the awards next year. An Endowment Fund is a part of their income budget and will be used in the future to sustain the teacher/classroom giving.
