Foundation's 3rd Annual
Golf Scramble a Success
The Board of Directors of the MVTHS Foundation want to thank everyone for their help in making the "3rd Annual Golf Scramble" at Green Hills Golf club such a success. The Foundation appreciates everything that was donated for sponsorships, prizes, food and beverages, manpower and support of the event. There were some fine golf players and impressive scores during the day.
With the financial success of the golf outing, Foundation goals for the year can be met. The foundation awarded $5,200 worth of teacher classroom grants and $28,000 worth of science lab equipment can be in place for the 2008-2009 school year. The targeted amount of endowment funds reaching $75,000 is within our three year goal.
The Foundation is one way that we can all join in furnishing the high school with needs that tax dollars do not meet. Excellence in education of our teenagers at the high school level continues to be the Foundations mission.
The Foundation appreciates all the support and looks forward to seeing everyone next year!
