SchoolReach to be Implemented
Mt. Vernon Township High School is implementing SchoolReach as a way to contact parents with needed messages and information. SchoolReach provides school administrators the ability to deliver personalized phone or text messages to every parent or staff, or select groups, through an affordable and easy-to-use web based system that requires no on-site hardware, software or phone lines.
Parents need to be sure that the contact information that is at their child's school is current and accurate. If the information has changed in any way, it is important to keep the school updated. The schools would like to have the child's home phone number (this would be the home in which the CHILD resides, and then parent's cell phone numbers, and of course any other work and alternate contact numbers.
If a parent is uncertain that their information is current, they should contact the school and ask to fill out a new enrollment information page for their child.
School offices are in the process of making sure the information is as current as they can, and once that is done, a "sample or test" message will take place. The school can then monitor how many calls were not received.
