All Fees Are Due
The following school fees are due if you haven’t paid these:
1st Semester fees……………………$50.00– past due
2nd Semester fees…………………..$50.00– currently due
P.E. bowling or skating fees……… ..$17.00– only pay for one
Driver’s Education school fee……… $50.00– due now
Ceramics supplies……………….......$25.00– first semester class
Occupational Design supplies......... .$25.00– second semester class
Dual Credit course…………………..$15.00
A $25.00 participation fee per student is charged for each of the first two activities. There is no charge for additional activities. This includes music, sports, and academic teams as follows: Music, Sports, Cheerleading, Rockin Rams, WYSE, Math Team, Youth & Government, Speech & Acting, and Scholar Bowl. There is no school participation fee for the bowling team and is not included in the capping. If your student enrolled in certain dual credit courses, they will be charged a $15.00 fee for books. This fee is paid to Rend Lake College. Students who receive free books must also pay the $15.00 fee.
Please check your student’s account on our family access website (www.mvths.org) and select the family access tab on the right. Look for textbooks not returned from first semester, unpaid ID cards, other miscellaneous items and previously unpaid balances. All accounts should be paid “in full” unless other arrangements have been made. Please call Mrs. Holt at 246-5909 if you have any questions.
We accept cash and checks. Make checks payable to MVTHS and mail to Mrs. Holt at Mt. Vernon Township High School 320 South Seventh Street Mt. Vernon, Illinois 62864. Be sure to include your student’s name on the check. The Superintendent’s Office is located at 203 A and you may also pay in person.
Remember ALL fees must be paid and any lost book or books from first semester that have not been returned must be paid before students may participate in school dances and other activities. Seniors are NOT ALLOWED to participate in the graduation ceremony unless their fees are paid. Please take care of these matters now.
