Stern and Beck Bring Home State FBLA Championships!!

Jacob Stern and Darius Beck each brought home first place finishes from the FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) State Leadership Conference held in Decatur, IL on March 26th and 27th. Stern finished first in the Introduction to Business competition and Beck finished first in the Sports Marketing competition. Their first place finishes qualify them to compete at the FBLA National Leadership Conference in July. The conference will be held in Nashville, TN.
Other state placers included Blake Fields who was ninth in Parliamentary Procedure, and Mallory Adams who finished ninth in Job Interview. Other competitors at the two day state conference were: Daniel Morrison (impromtu speaking), Amber Ashby (Accounting 1), Morgan Taylor (personal finance), Mia Hodges (public speaking 2), Haley Snyder (marketing), and Chifea Brown.
There were over 1,100 students from 71 FBLA chapters across the state who competed during the two day conference.
