FCCLA 2011-2012 updates

This school year, FCCLA’s plan is community service. Our plans this year include volunteering at Big Brother, Big Sister, Habitat for Humanity, and the local Soup Kitchen.
We are also planning on sponsoring a coat drive for students around the school who do not have coats for the cold winter months.
We are also focusing this year on learning more about careers in the family and consumer sciences areas. To do this, we will be organizing visits to local restaurants, child care facilities, and retail stores.
We will also be having fundraisers throughout the year to raise money to attend leadership training sessions and other fun activities.
