Governance
- The high school’s Technology Director serves as Chairperson and the Vice Chairperson shall be the high school’s Network Administrator.
Duties
Chairperson’s
- Presides over all meetings of the Technology Committee.
- Appoints special task groups as the need arises.
- Notifies all members of all meetings.
- Prepares and distributes the agenda for each meeting.
- Arranges for all preparation for the meetings.
- Forwards recommendations to the Principal/Superintendent, and reports the outcome of these recommendations to the committee.
- Represents the Technology Committee at all meetings and assists in the development of the District’s Technology Plan.
- Arranges for secretarial support (including the recording and distribution of minutes) as needed by the committee.
Vice Chairperson's Duties
- Participates in all meetings.
- Assumes the duty of the Chairperson in the Chair’s absence.
- Assists the Chairperson as requested.
Task Group Chair Duties
- Run task group meetings
- Communicate w/members about charges
- Collect feedback from members
- Develop report for Technology Committee
- Present report to Technology Director
- Set agenda for meetings
- Forming task groups
Members’ Duties
- Attend all meetings
- Provide feedback
- Serve on task groups
- Solicit others to be part of task groups
- Identify and submit information technology-related agenda items to the Chairperson
