Registration Begins Monday, August 6th

It's time to start the 2012-13 school year

To All Mt. Vernon Township High School Parents and Students:

Welcome to the start of the 2012-2013 school year! We have spent the last several months getting ready for the start of another school year.

We have a lot to do still as summer is not over, but we are busy building student schedules, getting ready for fall athletics and activities, preparing for a new freshmen class, and preparing for staff to return.

To ensure a smooth transition into the new school year for you and your student, we need you to complete this registration. We will have over 1,350 students, so it is important that this process works for both you and us. We have streamlined this procedure as much as we can.

The following times and dates will be used for registration this school year. It is very important that every student register on one of these dates. All final schedule changes must be made on these dates.

Registration packets will be mailed July 16. If you do not receive one or lost part or all of the packet, all documents that were mailed are at the bottom of this page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Guidance Office at 246-5901. The Guidance Office is open between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

August 6-8 and August 13, 2012 – G Building

Monday August 6
12:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. – Last Name A-H

Tuesday, August 7
12:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. – Last Name I-Q

Wednesday, August 8
12:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. – Last Name R-Z

Monday, August 13
12:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. - All students who were not able to register August 6-8

Attendance at registration is extremely important. Please make every effort to attend on your assigned day. Any student who does not register during registration week will not be able to register until the first day of school which is Friday, August 17.
