    Board Announcement

    April 10, 2018

The Board of Education is pleased to announce that MVTHS will move to a 7 class-period school day for the 2018-2019 school year.  This change will contribute to the goal of improving student academic performance for various reasons, including an increase in time and focus on only seven classes.  The Board made this decision in response to feedback received from numerous parties, survey results and additional collection of data.  Counselors will soon be making class visits to revise student schedules for next year.  More details regarding the new schedule will be available before the end of this school year.  We thank the administration, faculty, staff and students for their input and patience in implementing this change.
