Attendance Policy
It is the policy of MVTHS that regular school attendance is required of all students. A student who is absent due to a valid cause shall be excused. Excused absences are defined as illness, observance of a religious holiday, death in the family, family emergency, or such circumstances which cause reasonable concern to the parent for the safety or health of the student. All absencesmust be verified within two days with the Attendance Office. A more detailed explanation of the Attendance Policy can be found in the Student and Parent Handbook.
