Communication is one of District 201’s
most important priorities
From newsletters and flyers, to our website, school newspaper and e-mail communication, to the local newspapers and cable programs, we use a variety of media to keep everyone informed about important information, news and events in our schools. Here are some of the many ways you can keep up-to-date!
Keep your Student/Parent Handbook in a convenient place all school year for easy reference to important district and school information as you need it. The Student/Parent Handbook is a complete source of student information on topics ranging from registration requirements to basic school information to student guidelines.
Promotional flyers are distributed in the schools and posted on our website to advertise special events such as the parent information meetings, school events, and more.
From time to time, parents can expect to receive a number of mailings each school year including postcards with registration/residency reminders, students’ class assignments, and other important notices.
