Mt. Vernon Township High School has joined forces with Jefferson County Crime Stoppers in an effort to make our school and community safer. If you see anyone committing a crime, regardless of how big or how small, call Crime Stoppers at 242-TIPS (8477).
In addition, while you are at school or on a school bus and see
anyone carrying or using drugs, alcoholic beverages, or weapons,
call Crime Stoppers and you may be eligible for a reward.
When you call Crime Stoppers, the crime may be investigated by
either a police agency and/or Mt. Vernon Township High School. Many
times when the school is called, the school may opt to not get the
police involved. Remember, you are not getting anyone in
trouble...they got there without your help.
An important thing to remember about Crime stoppers is your call
will be confidential and remain anonymous. The only people who know
you called are the people you tell.
Remember, by calling Crime Stoppers, you are making both Mt. Vernon
Township High School and our community safe for all of us.
