School Board Vacancy Mt. Vernon Township High School is accepting applications to fill the vacancy resulting from the resignation of Cynthia Davis. The individual selected will serve on the School Board from the date of appointment to April 2015. Fractals are one of the newest forms of math available to students. They were developed in 1975. The simple definition of fractal would be as follows: a repeating geometric pattern. Fractals can be used in computer modeling and structures that do not have simple geometric shapes such as clouds, mountains, and coastlines.
