Congratulations to Mrs. Sarah Watts and Alex Lowery for winning the first ever “Dancing With the Staff” competition and fundraiser sponsored by the Future Business Leaders of America. The competition was held on May 1st in the MVTHS auditorium in conjunction with Spring Fling Week. The event based on the hit ABC television show, Dancing With the Stars,” raised money for FBLA’s national charity, the March of Dimes. The competition featured 5 student/staff pairings whose dance routines ranged from hip-hop to polka. The audience was also entertained with 3 routines from Rachel’s Dance Studio. Continental Tire (CTNA) - Maintenance Apprenticeships In the summer after High School Graduation, summer 2013, selected Apprentices would be required to complete the new employee safety training at Continental Tire, testing and registration at Rend Lake College. If the Apprentice has achieved 18 years of age they would be required to work on a full time basis at Continental Tire at a rate of $16.30 per hour and would receive other full time benefits associated with employment at Continental Tire.
