MVTHS SkillsUSA delegation attended the 2013 State Championship held in Springfield, IL on Friday, April 12th. MVTHS competed in six categories including Architectural Cad, First Aid/CPR, Small Engines Technology, Diesel Mechanics, Engineering Design, and 3D Design and Animation. Top ten honors were earned in Diesel Mechanics, Engineering Design, and 3D Design and Animation. The Engineering Design team competed against fifteen teams located in the Metro Chicago area earning a second place trophy. Continental Tire (CTNA) - Maintenance Apprenticeships In the summer after High School Graduation, summer 2013, selected Apprentices would be required to complete the new employee safety training at Continental Tire, testing and registration at Rend Lake College.
