| Biographical
Information I started my teaching career in Sparta, Illinois. Teaching 4th-8th grade LD/BD/EMH and coaching middle school softball, basketball, and track. Six years later I moved my teaching and coaching assignment to Sparta High School. After completing my Master's of Ed. Psychology. I became to high school guidance counselor at Sparta High School. I lived, taught, coached and counseled in Sparta for twelve years. In 1997, I married Shawn Allen and moved back to my home school district of South Central and served as K-8 Home-to-School Facilitator and Guidance Counselor for eight years. Mount Vernon Township High School has been the place where I call home since 2005. I enjoy the fresh new challenges that await me everyday in the guidance office. |
