The Hi-Tri League was established at Mt. Vernon Township High School in September 1925. This school year, 2025-2026, marks the 100th anniversary of the organization. Hi-Tri was established before the Ram was chosen as the school mascot and before orange and black were chosen as the school colors. Wednesday, September 3 has been declared
"Hi-Tri Day"
at MVTHS in honor of our 100th anniversary. We would like to invite students and staff to wear a Hi-Tri shirt or a Sweetheart Dance shirt that day. Sweetheart shirts from previous years are available for purchase in the Main Office for $3 each. Sizes are limited.
The Hi-Tri Membership Drive is September 2-5. All MVTHS girls are invited to join Hi-Tri.
