Saturday, February 7th, the Mt. Vernon Township High School Foundation welcomed home the Alumni Class of 2026.
Roland D. Mays, Melanie Fullerton Andrews and Dr. Susanna Widicus Weaver were honored at the foundation dinner, held at the Cedarhurst Center of the Performing Arts. Entertainment was provided by the MVTHS Music department. Student from the choir, symphony, band and orchestra performed in solos and small groups, much to the appreciation of the crowd.
This the 16th annual dinner for the foundation. Attendees included foundation members, other alumni honorees, as well as school and community dignitaries. Tom Jackson served as the Master of Ceremonies and MVTHS Superintendent provide the introductions to the honorees.
