The MVTHS Black Student Union sends off the 2026 Black History Month with a week of student Spirit Activities.
Monday is Unity Day - wear Red, Green and Black
Tuesday is Sista Sista Day - Twin Day!
Dress up as Twins with a friend.
Wednesday is Career Day - Dress as the
profession you want to go into.
Thursday is Throwback Thursday - Wear the attire from your favorite decade.
Friday - Black Excellence Day - Dress in all black attire to celebrate Black culture and achievements.
Friday, the 27th also features the 2nd Annual Black History Month Program., a 7th and 8th hour school assembly in the theater.
Mr. Rashod Seaton will be the guest speaker. Mr. Seaton is a former MVTHS teacher and was the advisor for the first BSU (then the ASU) at MVTHS. The Friday event is open to the public, but seating is limited.
