Last week more than 50 people, including past and present tennis players gathered to celebrate Coach Randy Knox as MVTHS Court 1 was dedicated in his honor.
Superintendent Chad LeCrone and Athletic Director Seth English, along with board members Kathy Asbery and David Kassner attended the celebration.
Current Girls Tennis coach, Ashlee Adams unveiled the court dedication sign after reading a bio of Randy's tenure at MVTHS.
Coach Knox was integral to the beginnings of the current tennis program at MVTHS, going back to 1985. During the ceremony Knox shared some of that history, thanked his assistant coaches and shared the highlights of many past MVTHS tennis players.
