Congratulations to Mrs. Taryn Zapp for being selected as the 2025/2026 Communication Arts Department Teacher of the Year!
"Mrs. Zapp has continuously and unselfishly given back to the students of MVTHS and the Communication Arts Department," said Communications Department Head Jeremy Mays. "Just recently, Zapp has worked on the School Improvement Committee, created a writing portfolio system that has been adopted department wide, earned her master's degree, helped tweak the English I and English II curriculums, developed a community service unit for her sophomore classes, and so much more. MVTHS and the Communication Arts Department are a better place because of her."
