Per the bus company, Durham bus #1 is running about 15 minutes behind schedule this morning.
MVTHS will be taking an E-learning day on Tuesday, January 16 due to the extreme wind chill and potential snow moving into the area. The January board meeting will be held as scheduled at 6:00 pm.
MVTHS will be closed Monday, January 15 in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

MVTHS will dismiss students Friday, December 1 at 11:40 due to a teacher inservice.
Students will be dismissed Tuesday at 1:57 to begin Thanksgiving break. School will resume Monday, November 27.

The PSAT test originally scheduled for Tuesday, October 17 has been moved to Monday, October 30. We will still have a 1:57 dismissal tomorrow and another on October 30.
Early dismissal notification - MVTHS will dismiss at 1:57 on Tuesday, October 17 due to student PSAT testing.
Local law enforcement officials have been made aware of a threat involving MVTHS. Police have investigated the report and have identified a juvenile suspect in Ohio. After conducting the investigation, authorities believe there is no threat to students or to the school. However in light of these circumstances and to exercise the utmost caution, we will be screening all attendees and spectators as well as have an increased police presence on campus tonight at the dance.
