John Scrivner Memorial Scholarships were presented to the senior members of the MVTHS Lady Rams basketball team on senior night. Paralee Scrivner has presented over 400 scholarships since 1994 in memory of her late husband. Congratulations to the recipients and good luck on their future endeavors.
Lady Rams coach Jeff Lonnon was honored before Saturday's game for recently winning his 400th career game. Coach Lonnon and the Lady Rams are putting together an historic season with a current record of 22-3!
Coach Jeff Lonnon presented gold basketballs to his two 1000 point career scorers before Saturday's game. Kamaree Pollard and Melaina Zedalis both reached the 1000 point milestone this year. Congratulations to these two Lady Ram basketball players!

With the 8:50 late start on Tuesday, bus riders in Mt. Vernon should expect their bus to pick them up approximately 30 minutes later than usual. Drivers of country routes will be starting their routes at the regular time, but will most likely be delayed due to reduced speed. Please be on the lookout for your bus.
MVTHS will have an E-Learning day on Friday, January 10 due to continued icy roads in the country and the anticipated snow coming early tomorrow morning.

Rockin' Rams Dance Clinic!!
Work with the Mt. Vernon Rockin’ Rams and perform a routine choreographed by the team at the halftime of a varsity basketball game! The Clinic will be held on Saturday, Jan. 4th | 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM. The Performance will be held at the Rams Basketball game's halftime on that same day, Jan. 4th. This will be held for kindergarten - 8th graders at $40. Members of the MVTHS Treble Choir performed several Christmas favorites at the Mt. Vernon Rotary Club meeting on Tuesday.
