Quick heads up/reminder - Backpacks are allowed this school year.
This is from the updated new student handbook:
"New- Due to school safety concerns students may carry backpacks or handbags throughout the day. Backpacks must not set off the metal detectors themselves. Backpacks with charging capabilities, zip up three ring binders, briefcases, or any style of bag that administration deems as unnecessary or difficult to quickly search will not be allowed. All sports related items such as athletic bags for school sports will be searched at the metal detectors closest to the locker rooms.
MVTHS offices will be closed Wednesday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.
There will be no summer meal service Wednesday.
Summer meal service at MVTHS ends this Friday, June 21. Please continue to see our friends at D80 for meal pickups the rest of the summer.
The 2024 MVTHS Graduation Videos are in! If you pre-ordered a copy, it is available in the Main Office. If you missed out, and want one, you can order it from Tami Lovin, in the main office. 618-246-1750. tlovin@mvths.org. Any checks should be made payable to Action Media.
Monday and Tuesday are full attendance days for students. The dismissal bell will ring at 3:09 - students are expected to remain at school the entire day.
