October 14-18 is National School Lunch Week. MVTHS appreciates our Food Service staff for their commitment and dedication to providing delicious and nutritious meals for our students and staff on a daily basis!
Something spooky this way comes. Okay, a lot of something spooky. :)
Tuesday Mr. Mays and his students spent the class periods creating a Halloween narrative containing all the parts of plot with a spooky twist.
Each story was centered on the concept of a mirror. Students were guided paragraph by paragraph, focusing on elements of plot and adding their own personal details and touches. In the end, each student walked away with a short five paragraph Halloween tale. All started down the same path in the beginning, but each ended entirely different.
October 2 is School Custodian Recognition Day. MVTHS would like to thank all of our Operations, Grounds, and Maintenance personnel for their commitment and dedication to providing a safe and clean learning environment for students and staff!

Message from Mr. LeCrone::
Earlier tonight we were made aware of a possible threat to MVTHS and Casey Middle School on social media and immediately began the process of conducting a thorough investigation into the matter. The investigation was turned over to local law enforcement and it was determined that multiple schools throughout the state received the same message. At this time, we believe there is no imminent danger to our students and staff. Nevertheless, student and staff safety is our top priority, and we will continue to closely monitor this situation and will have extra police present at school out of an abundance of caution.
All MVTHS parents/guardians are encouraged to attend Open House on Thursday, September 12 from 5:30-7:00 pm.
MVTHS will conduct an Intruder Drill on Wednesday, Sept 4th, in the morning.
This will be an on campus only drill.
It's that wonderful time of year again!
The annual Pink Out game, held by MV FBLA on September 13, has been a tradition for over a decade, raising over $55,000 for cancer research. I'm grateful for your continued support and have attached images of this year's Pink Out shirt design, order form, business sponsorship form, and some of my favorite Pink Out photos!
Please reach out if you are a business owner interested in sponsoring the game, a Ram-Fam interested in purchasing Pink Out merch, or a community member interested in sponsoring a Pink Out football jersey dedicated to cancer victims, battlers, or survivors.
